Tunisia Irby for Burnsville City Council
Hello, Neighbor!

Tunisia Irby for a Progressive Burnsville

A Vote for Tunisia is a Vote for You!

Burnsville residents deserve safe neighborhoods, affordable housing options, accessible parks, strong small businesses, responsible budgets, and a City Hall that listens.

This campaign is about building a welcoming, progressive Burnsville where every resident — including families, seniors, workers, immigrants, caregivers, renters, homeowners, and small business owners — is heard, respected, and included in city decisions.

Tunisia is running to bring people together, support ethical economic practices, move Burnsville forward, and make City Hall accountable to the residents it serves.

Meet Tunisia

Tunisia Irby

Tunisia Irby is a mother, caregiver, business owner, nonprofit founder, union member, and longtime community advocate. Her leadership has been shaped by real-life experience — advocating for children and families, supporting residents with disabilities, helping people navigate difficult systems, providing financial education, and building businesses from the ground up.

I am not a politician — I am a resident who has spent years advocating, solving problems, and standing up for families. I am running because Burnsville needs leadership that understands real-life challenges and is willing to take action.

A Vote for Tunisia is a Vote for You!

What I’m Fighting For

01

Accessibility in Every Neighborhood

Burnsville should work for everyone. That means safe sidewalks, accessible parks, reliable transportation, and public spaces that serve seniors, families, and residents with disabilities.

02

A Stronger Burnsville Center and Local Economy

I want to see the Burnsville Center and other vacant spaces become active parts of our community again. We need more local businesses, restaurants, jobs, and responsible development that reflects what residents want.

03

Safe Neighborhoods

Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home and neighborhood. I support public safety built on trust, accountability, prevention, and strong relationships with the community.

04

Roads, Water, and Reliable Infrastructure

Residents should be able to count on well-maintained roads, safe sidewalks, dependable water systems, and infrastructure that keeps pace with the needs of every neighborhood.

05

Responsible Spending

Residents deserve transparency and responsible use of their tax dollars. City spending should protect essential services, address real needs, and reflect the priorities of the people who live here.

17Precincts — Every Neighborhood’s Voice Matters

A Burnsville That Works for All of Us

As I talk with residents, I am reminded that Burnsville does not have just one issue. Families are concerned about affordability, accessibility, public safety, roads, transportation, parks, small businesses, and the future of the Burnsville Center.

That does not confuse me. It reminds me why listening matters.

Whether you rent or own, or live in an apartment, townhome, HOA community, or single-family neighborhood, your voice matters. Every resident deserves to be heard, respected, and included in Burnsville’s future.

My commitment to Burnsville did not begin with this campaign. The conversations, events, advocacy, and relationships shown here reflect years of showing up, serving others, and staying connected to the concerns of our community.
